Truly appreciate your analysis. My question is where is crude going to be refined ? China’s refineries are not operating at near capacity compared to US. China is virtually energy independent with 60% of their energy coming from coal and hydro supplemented by wind and solar. Russia and China, possibly Iran, will come out on top of this game as our national debt increases to sustain this war which was to be over “in a few days.” China has opted not to purchase Venezuelan crude - - oops guess our grand strategy got that one wrong. This war is just another piece in the chessboard of endless wars which our neocons declared following the murder of JFK. None of this bodes well for the American taxpayer as we prop up the hegemony.
