Hi friends,
Though few, if any, agree 100% with any Republican or Democrat candidate, it’s critical to vote.
You can support a candidate and still have questions or be disappointed about an issue you disagree on. You may dislike a personality, but policy is key. Voting does not require you to approve of every position or every decision. Remember President Ronald Reagan said if you agree 80%, you’re on the same team.
That matters especially now. If we want Republicans to retain Congress, and continue upholding the Constitution, we cannot leave the outcome to someone else.
The other side will show up, not just Democrats, but the socialists and the Sharia law supporters. We must show up, too.
Discouraging headlines are an attempt to keep you from voting. Polls are worse, and they have missed the mark more often than not since 2016. The only result that counts is the one voters decide. Your vote is important!
For those of us who care about faith, family, and freedom, this is a chance to act on our convictions. We can want more from our leaders and still recognize that our vote matters. We can deal with our emotions - like frustration - but must still take part.
So make your plan today. Put voting on your calendar. Check your location and hours. Then reach out to someone you know: “Have you made a plan to vote? Would you like to go early with me?”
One conversation may be all it takes to help someone who was tired, busy, or ready to sit this one out.
Don’t forfeit. Show up and vote.
Find your official voting information.
Start at Vote.gov and choose your state or territory.
Use your state’s voter lookup to check registration, get a sample ballot, find your polling place, or track a mail ballot.
Many offices also post sample ballots and ballot-status tools on their websites. Vote.gov’s voting guide explains how to find that information.
Find your elections office.
Start here: USA.gov — State and local election offices. Choose your state or territory; the page links to the state elections office and, in most states, county or local contacts.
Military or overseas voters: Search by location on FVAP.gov Local Election Office Search.
Spanish: Directorio de oficinas de elecciones estatales y locales.

In Texas, early voting runs October 19–30. Election Day is November 3. Find your official voting information at VoteTexas.gov.
