Hi friends,
Yes, we’ve all heard this is the most important election ever. And we hear it almost every election.
The difference this time: The November 3 election is about much more than Donald Trump or which political party controls Congress.
It is about the direction of our country, the future of our freedoms, and who gets to make the decisions that affect our everyday lives. For generations, Republicans and Democrats disagreed about how best to govern, but generally shared a commitment to America’s founding principles.
Today, the growing influence of socialism and expanding government control raises a much more fundamental question: Will Americans continue to govern themselves, or will government increasingly make those decisions for us?
Consider what is at stake: border security, taxes, healthcare, parental rights, property rights, election integrity, and the authority of states and local communities. These aren’t abstract political issues. They affect our families, our finances, our freedoms, and the opportunities we leave our children and grandchildren. Presidents come and go, but the policies they put in place can shape America for generations.
This election isn’t just about the people on the ballot. It’s about the kind of country we want to live in—and the kind of country we intend to leave behind.
From American Constitutional Rights Union (theacru.org):
“Here is a number I want you to carry with you between now and November 3rd: 7,309. In 2024, some 147.7 million Americans cast a ballot for the United States House of Representatives. And yet the majority in that chamber, the body the Founders designed to be closest to the people, came down to three districts in Iowa, Colorado, and Pennsylvania, decided by a combined 7,309 votes. That is five thousandths of one percent of the ballots cast.
And the single closest race in the Nation? California’s 13th District, decided by 187 votes. One hundred eighty-seven! You have more people than that at a good church potluck. The House of Representatives writes the budget, holds the purse strings, and has the power to impeach. Its majority was decided by a crowd you could seat in a minor league ballpark.”
As always, do your own research and make up your own mind.
